Get the Royal Style

Kate Middleton’s first appearance of 2014 at The National Portrait Gallery was as elegant as ever with her long royal blue Jenny Packman gown. Ever since her beautiful McQueen wedding dress Kate has become an inspiring fashion icon, commonly seen wearing British fashion heritage brands such as Barbour Reiss, Whistles and Topshop.

One of our favorites is the long-sleeve ivory Roland Mouret gown that she wore for the royal premiere of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The piece is a sophisticated example of pastel trends that are in for S/S 14. Kate partnered her beautiful dress with a Zara necklace, which shows you don’t need designer labels to look stylish. The duchess of Cambridge has become one of the world’s most influential people according to The Times, 2012.

Here at A we are certainly influenced by the Kate Middleton affect.
