Croatia is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Brits with 400,000 UK visitors in 2013. We can see why – it has a mixture of stunning coastline, unspoilt nature (including eight national parks) and beautifully-preserved centuries-old harbour towns. During low seasons Croatia is peaceful and idyllic however there are numerous festivals that liven up the coastline.
A popular route for holiday makers is to fly into the capital , Zagreb, then on to Rijeka or down to Split to explore Istria or Dalmatia respectively. If you head south for Dalmatia, Plitvice National Park is a must see as it has spectacular waterfalls and lakes and is Croatia’s most visited inland destination.
Here at A we are looking forward to Hideout Festival held in Croatia between 30th June – 3rd July with this fantastic line up and summer sun!
Boat and pool parties will be announced soon and is something we are very excited about. Hideout is located on the Island of Pag, just off the coast of mainland Croatia close to the city of Zadar. See you all there!
